What is the case in Hungary?
Many readers have shared their experiences with us. A lady (who is willing to defend her statements in public) has told the story of his son. The boy was an extremely talented celebrity of one the most well-known Hungarian bodybuilder club. Few years ago, the executives of the frenchise started sponsoring him with dietary substitutes. Later, he was invited to a special training camp from where he returned after 24 hours. All he said to his family was: Mom, I don't want to be a gay prostitute. He would never say a word about what happened at the camp. One thing is certain, however, the very next day he changed his club and quit his professional carrier.
A girl from the country informed us, that "Radio 88", a local radio station in Szeged, has already revealed a story last year about the gay-porn world carrier and procurement of local bodybuilders. Due to the latter activity, scandals happen on a daily basis. Secrets of sportsmen and college boys are found out, fights happen in discos, and parents and girlfriends are facing facts they would have never thought about.
Another female reader tells a story about how she found out about the connection of porn business and bodybuilding. She was browsing the above mentioned webs-sites with her sportsman boyfriend, when she recognized the bodybuilders who she had seen on stage at a Chippendale performance on a Lady's Night in a club. Female readers of a recently started erotic magazine - a sort of Playgirl - should not be surprised to recognize men, previously involved in gay-porn movies, offering their services on the pages of the magazine. All in all, the two branches are in many case overlapping, using the same "employees".
Good relations to both sexes...
Under these circumstances, the nomination of bodybuilding as an Olympic game is more than embarrassing. Steve Neece, one of the greatest expert on bodybuilding and photographer, truly devoted to his profession, has written the following in the cover story of Bodybuilding Enquirer, before his death: "The connection between gay-porn industry and bodybuilding is just as tight as Joe Weider's love to money". (Joe Weider is the founding father and chairman of the international bodybuilder association.)
Apparently, this type of 'sponsoring' in the business has become an automatic system in the United States. No wonder, if Martin Ryter, the world famous star photographer of the exclusive MEN'S WORK OUT magazine, does not only shoot cover pages and illustrations for bodybuilder magazines, but also employs his muscled models for nude and porn shootings. Additionally, he advertises male escorts (male prostitutes) as well. It has become a generally accepted fact, that bodybuilders can simultaneously be seen on the pages of bodybuilder magazines and PLAYGIRL magazines. They also appear on the promos of porn movies in several sex magazines, such as TORSO or HONCHO.
Surprisingly, the same method has become the practice in Hungary as well. Let's take a look around domestic issues. The international 'success' of Hungarian bodybuilders seemed to be unbelievable. Should they be disqualified?
Going back to the field of sport, many bodybuilder have expressed their opinions. Some suggested, that those who are engaged with the porn industry should be banned from official contests. (in the case of Miss Worlds/Universes a nude picture is enough for losing their crown). Others want to take more radical steps: they want to know the names of those responsible who support and sponsor prostitution and the shooting of gay porn movies. According to our informers, there is a very thin line between show business, erotica, sex and porn. It should not be ignored, that nearly all the major fitness champions of the previous years are making their living with Chippendale performances and nude shootings. This may rather be considered as light entertainment and not sex or porn. There seems to be an agreement, however, on the punishment of those who took advantage of their fame, and roped in their younger and inexperienced fellows. It would be insufficient to punish only those sportsmen who got involved with porn movies. Therefore, a thorough investigation should deal with those who manipulate behind the scenes.
How much can you earn?
There were others who were interested in the financial side of this issue. They wanted to know how much one could earn in a year with shootings. To find it out, we have called three well-known porn production companies. The answers were the following:
Studios pay a sum of 500-3000 USD per scene or shooting-day. There are, of course, higher rates as well in the cases of extra celebrities. A maximum of 1000 USD is paid for a regular shooting. Royalty is not included regularly, companies usually grant the possibility for their stars to appear live in strip shows instead. On a Saturday night, one could earn up to 500-5000 USD with live performances. In New York, even 10,000 USD could be earn in a week in a strip club. However, it is not the stage dance which pays well. Boys can earn big time in the VIP rooms giving private dances for special guests and 'customers'.
Those who work in Hungary, these wages remain only dreams. Although, according to critics, Hungarian boys are the best to be found in the Globe. This is proved by the fact that the 2003 issues of Pacific Sun will contain free samples of videos and calendars with the pictures of Hungarian celebrities only.
The majority of the boys appearing on these calendars know little about the success of the magazines, which are available on four continents and sold in millions of copies. Needless to say, the boys do not get their share from the enormous profits. The question is then, who has the key to the unbelievable success of the 'Hungarian Porn Boom'. (It is clear that mediators only profit on this business until the boys do not speak languages, inexperienced and uninformed.)
Visa for the guys...
We also have information about certain agreements made secretly on international porn-tours of Hungarian boys at an embassy in Budapest. This information appears to be reinforced by the fact that, on the one hand, a Hungarian professional thai-box champion was not permitted to enter the USA for a contest, although his American colleagues have sent him an invitation and a full itinerary of the event. On the other hand, a guy hurrying to do some gay-porn shooting was granted a 5-years visa as a journalist. He does not only have the lack of education as a journalist, but has serious troubles to read out or write the simplest English sentence...
The last day of the previous year was loud with the following scandal in the media: a well-known wealthy businessman and his millionaire friend raped a box champion in an elite club in Szeged. At the very same place, the previous year, a men known from his gay-porn movies was severely beaten.
According to the press, the spokesman of the police did not know how confidential information (infamous playboys and well-known sportsmen in a crowded disco, sex, drugs - all in secret??) could have leaked out to the public. The less imaginative policemen were told to have a look at a new Hungarian movie called MANPART SQUAD, which is a real "cop story".
Bodybuilding is not the sport of the homosexuals
Finally, to those who thought our earlier article was written to disgrace the art of bodybuilding:
We have never stated that bodybuilding had turned entirely to the sport of the homosexuals. Although, those contestants who have been to the USA explain that only those can afford this luxurious sport who do not have family, can spend their money on themselves and who are mainly driven by their vain nature. (Bodybuilding, by the way, has been a number in Gay Olympics for several years).
There are the masses of regular, every-day people, who work out for fun. Youngsters should not be forgotten either, who are craving for role models. The aim of our article was to warn them. With the words of a recently returned sports mate: "Thank God, amateur sport has absolutely nothing to do with the rotten circus of the professionals. Free your mind, and just train!"
To the best of our knowledge, a group of Hungarian sportsmen, who feel humiliated by the accusations, have taken actions against the spread of gay-porn industry. With the help of a foreigner manager, they would like to publish their biography in the form of a documentary novel../
The following facts should not be forgotten:
Male prostitution and the gay-porn industry was able to develop with the assistance and co-operation of state officials, politicians, sport managers and the executives of the media branch. The disgusting deeds, such as the discrediting of the police, the arms of Hungary, and names of people from national history and literature, which were used as movie titles and names of actors, has not only evoked the disapproval of the society, but also triggered a general shock.
